Press Day Keychains
For the Launch of the Fall and Winter 2023 collection of UNÜTZER, I was tasked with designing small leather good key chains as gifts to the press and UNÜTZER's most loyal customers. These were gifted to the press and clients on the 2023 Press day, and therfore were produced in limited stock. The design is a small smooth deer leather pouch, with a silver 3mm occhielli metal eylet ring on top to allow the double folded 2mm sewn leather band to slid in and out of the pouch with the perfect hand-drawn resistance. This would allow the user to hide or protect their keys in the pouch, to remove the prickly sensation of having ones keys in their pocket. The bands ends are tied like fly-fishing knots, with a thick waxed thread, traditionally used by the venetian craftsmen to hand-sew mocassins. I hand produced these with the help of the artigianelli (craftsmen) at the UNÜTZER Factory in Italy.
